The West Yorkshire Mental Health, Learning Disability and Autism programme continues to work in partnership with the Touchstone Inclusion and Recruitment team to support recruitment from underrepresented groups.

If you care about other people, including people with learning disabilities, autism and mental ill health and you want to help change lives for the better, working in local health and care is the career for you. No qualifications or prior experience needed to apply. We want people with the right values and attitudes - could that be you? We have jobs and career opportunities for everyone.

Read our leaflet to find out more about whether being a healthcare support worker in West Yorkshire is for you.

NHS Mental Health Trusts virtual recruitment events

West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership are hosting four virtual NHS inclusive recruitment events during 2023. Find out more about register.

At the event, you can speak with people from the Trusts to find out about what it's like to work for the Trusts as well as the support available from the Trusts for their staff, especially those from underrepresented groups or with lived/personal experience of mental ill-health.

Attendees can opt-in to go through the fast-tracked NHS application process, which could lead to a virtual interview at the event. This makes the wait time until being offered a job much quicker, as much of the paperwork can be completed after the job offer has been given.
