The West Yorkshire Allied Health Professionals (AHP) Faculty provides the infrastructure and leadership in facilitating a system-wide approach across the Integrated Care System (ICS) and Integrated Care Board (IBC) with a focus on careers promotion, education, and training to secure the current supply, pipeline, and future growth of the AHP Workforce and AHP Support workforce.
The West Yorkshire Allied Health Professions Faculty sits within West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership and provides leadership on education and workforce across the 15 individual AHP professions.

The Faculty is formed of a group of health, social care, private, independent, voluntary organisations, education and training providers and arm’s length bodies that formally work collaboratively to support and deliver the many workstreams co-ordinated by the AHP Faculty in ensuring our pipeline of AHP professionals and AHP Support Workers continue to thrive and grow.
The West Yorkshire AHP Faculty is dedicated to focusing on the development, equaity, diversity, inclusion, belonging and welfare of the AHP Professionals and AHP Support workers by supporting a system-wide approach to creating great working relationships and environments, building, and strengthening leadership opportunities, recruiting, developing, and retaining the AHPs and AHP Support workers needed to deliver optimum care to the people living across West Yorkshire.
